LEINSTER are three games away from a league and cup double after this five-try defeat of the Sharks
Leo Cullen’s side made nine changes from last Saturday’s Champions Cup triumph over Toulouse but nevertheless eased past a below par Sharks side.
They took some time to find their mojo against a visiting team that was missing a quartet of their most important players in Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, Eben Etzebeth, fly-half Curwin Bosch and scrum-half Jaden Hendrikse.
The Sharks made a blistering start as unstructured play led to Grant Williams dummying from the base and the scrum-half showcased his lightning pace to sail through the Leinster defence and score in the corner.
Dave Kearney made a strong run through the middle and off a driving maul moments later, Leinster barged over through the physicality of Caelan Doris.
