Ice-cool kicking seals Old Reds' joy

O Redcliffians.38pts Chester.….…........ ..29pts

The Bristol side ran in five tries to make it eight successive home victories, having last tasted defeat on their own patch in October.

Old Reds head coach Dan Cox said: "We know Chester like to play, so we know it's going to be tough.

"We really pride ourselves here on working hard for each other at the club. I didn't realise it was eight on the bounce, we just take it one (game) by one. It's brilliant.

"The first half I was really pleased with, especially going up the hill. We scored a bonus point try just before half-time.

"Second half I think we took our foot off the gas a little bit, probably discipline made it a bit difficult for us at times.

"But Chester, despite league position, the are a quality outfit and they moved the ball really well."
