AFTER their unbeaten run of 14 games ended last week, Chesham bounced back by ending Totton's own record of 11 league games without defeat.
Goals at the beginning of each half by Jordan Edwards and Lewis Rolfe clinched the result and extended the Generals' lead at the top of the table to 14 points.
Chesham made a dream start with a goal in the third minute. Bradley Clayton combined with Alex Lafleur on the left, and pulled the ball back to Edwards who worked himself a shooting chance before slotting home.
Totton's experienced forward line stretched the home defence but Chesham stood firm with veteran defender Kieran Murphy in fine form.
