Kairo Mitchell and Ryan East netted for James McNulty’s side, but a Sean Adarkwa goal and brace from skipper Jack Cook sealed all three points for the Stones in a thrilling encounter.

Assistant manager Matt Saunders said: “It was an excellent game of football by two passing sides. I thought both teams had periods where we dominated the play, but I thought on the basis of chances, we deserved the win. Their goalkeeper was excellent first-half and made three incredible saves.
