Dr. Samin K. Sharma, Chairman Eternal Hospital, Jaipur, explains ways to keep your heart healthy

He is a global leader in interventional cardiology.
His success rate for complex coronary interventions is more than 99%. He has received numerous awards and honors for his significant contributions in the field of cardiology. We met him at Eternal Hospital in Jaipur. During a discussion, he provided valuable insights regarding heart health.
Dr. Samin K. Sharma, who grew up in Jaipur, received his medical degree from SMS Medical College, Jaipur. He then completed a residency in internal medicine in the United States. Dr. Sharma is currently the Chairman of Eternal Hospital, Jaipur, and the Director of the Cardiovascular Clinical Institute at Mount Sinai in New York, USA. He mentors many students. He has published several books and articles. He remains fit and active even in his seventies, attributing this to his passion for his work. Here are excerpts from a discussion with him on heart health:
