Every year the watch industry seems to have a collective preference for a colour. For the last few years, green has been very popular, as have blue, brown and salmon-coloured dials. This year, however, the trend isn't really about a single colour but more for daring colours-lime green, shocking pink, deep purple, and technicolour. The watch industry is usually quite conservative in this area, but for 2023 it is really having fun with the Pantone charts. Even the famous watch auction Only Watch has chosen the rainbow as its theme colour, so expect to see a whole spectrum of coloured watches such as this Jaquet Droz Only Watch one-of-a-kind piece.
