Tangra–Tales of Chinatown at The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa is the hottest new Chinese restaurant in Delhi NCR
Some things can only be born out of pure passion. When Amit Dash, Cluster Executive Chef at The Westin Gurgaon New Delhi and The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa, was tasked with revamping a pan-Asian restaurant at their Sohna property, he plunged deep into his culinary memories—that boundless wellspring of inspiration—for direction. That's how Tangra—Tales of Chinatown, Delhi NCR’s most promising new Chinese restaurant, came to be. Dash, who spent his childhood in Kolkata, was keen to experiment with the cuisine of the Hakka Chinese, who started migrating to Calcutta over 200 years ago. Initially, they settled in the Tiretta Bazaar area in Central Calcutta, with a larger Chinatown being established subsequently on the outskirts of the city in Tangra along with Chinese tanneries.
