The Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ (from £73,450, mercedes-benz.co.uk) is an electric alternative to the popular E-Class and is the latest addition to the German marque's EQ range. I was prepared to dislike the EQE as it seemed like just another business saloon (albeit an electric one), but I was pleasantly surprised.

The EQE features the now distinctive Mercedes-EQ aesthetic, with a swooping silhouette and a cab-forward design. All has been done to achieve a low drag coefficient of 0.20, making it the most aerodynamic production car in the world.
