Be the last guest dancing

We get it, weddings are exhausting, even if you're just a guest. Here's how to keep the heart full and the events manageable

I know that it is fashionable among certain quarters to scoff at the Great Indian Wedding. So many functions, so many outfit changes, so much jewellery, and so many kinds of cuisines laid out for the delectation of the guests. Not to mention that it costs so much money — the kind that many people can’t afford and go bankrupt as they pretend that they do.

All of this is probably true but if you are attending as a guest there is also so much fun to be had. I particularly enjoy people-watching, gawking at the outfits and jewels on display, marvelling at the inventive decor, and of course, stuffing my face at the buffet tables.
