French designer Cedric Courtin, whose pioneering studio in Pondicherry is dedicated to leatherwork techniques and craft research, finds himself most at home amidst the simple, quiet and natural. In a bid to avoid the crowds of Serenity Beach, the designer moved his weekend home inwards into the verdant jungle and, soon after, converted a development project of four two-bedroom apartments in the same compound into his studio.
