TaP Design Inc. crafts tactile and stylish spaces that are timeless

2020 is a year we remember most for the pandemic and several ensuing lockdowns. But for Sneha Talati and iesha Parekh Shellugar, co-founders and principal partners at TaP Design Inc., it was the beginning of something new as they founded their practice in Bengaluru. “Our paths crossed when we briefly worked together for a design company. We admired each other's work ethic, sensibilities, and shared values especially our love for tactile materials and thoughtfully-composed spaces. Conversations eventually turned into collaboration, and the idea to form TaP began to take shape organically,” the duo reminisces. While discussions and plans were in motion just before the pandemic, the sudden pause also became a point of reflection. “We felt the need to create a practice that brought empathy, beauty, and functionality together — not just in aesthetics but in the process. We wanted to offer a studio that could handhold clients from concept to completion, seamlessly integrating architect
