FRENCH MAISON HERMÈS CELEBRATES THE HISTORY OF INDIAN CRAFTSMANSHIP THROUGH MODERN DESIGN AT ITS NEWEST STORE IN MUMBAI

On the first floor of Mumbai's Jio World Plaza, the dazzling ambiance of the centre is broken by an earthy display of a forest. The installation, envisioned by designer and filmmaker Aradhana Sheth, is titled 'Faubourg in an Enchanted Forest' and precedes the city's second and newest Hermès store. The making of this outlet, as well as its display, speaks of the thoughtful artistry that has come to define the luxury brand. The independent, family-owned French maison has developed 16 métiers over the course of six generations. And adding a touch of whimsy to their global presence, their themed window displays have become something of an icon in themselves.
