This duplex apartment in Bengaluru, designed by Smitha Zachariah, is a treasure trove for those who appreciate the richness of Indian arts, crafts, and textiles. At Smitha Zachariah Design, the clients returned for a second collaboration, this time to transform a five bedroom, 8,000 sq ft home into a haven for their family a space imbued with their love for all things Indian. "I had worked with them before, so I knew they would want Indian accents," says Smitha, reflecting on the longstanding creative synergy with her clients. The house, originally one of two flats, was previously designed by Smitha and has now been merged through a slim corridor to create a cohesive home.
