The balmy climate is obviously one of the great attractions of Ibiza; the chance to live a rural life, yet within a cosmopolitan environment, surrounded by cultural stimuli, is another. Both were very much part of the appeal when the Milanese creative director Linda Maroli fell for the lifestyle offered by the island.

Now ecopreneur co-founder of the Sol de Ibiza clean sunscreen brand, Linda had first arrived on the island in 2014. The bonus was it turned out to be an idyllic place to raise her young family, although it took a while to find a home with the right ‘karma’. ‘Before moving here we lived in a typical country house with small windows,’ says Linda. ‘The large windows in this house are what have changed our lives the most. The energy of the sun enters and illuminates the house, as well as lifting us.’
