Paediatric nurse Lisa Abefelt lives here with her restaurateur husband, Nenad, and their three children - Matteo, 16, Kiwi (real name Elle), 13, and Louie, nine - plus their French bulldog, Rue.

THE PROPERTY

In the Östermalm area of Stockholm, this six-room, 198-square-metre apartment is part of a period property built in the early 1900s. A long aisle separates the kitchen and living room and dining room, from which the three bedrooms and bathroom branch off.

This is the space Lisa uses when friends come over. Chrome tableware feels more modern and crisp than classically festive gold might have done.
