Pretty PASTELS
March - April 2025
|Good House Keeping - US
Embrace the season with easy Easter and Passover crafts for an unforgettable celebration.

Crafty Carrots
Add a bunny-approved touch to every seat: Spray-paint a bottlebrush tree orange, then use green raffia string to create stems.
1. Cover bottle brush trees with orange spray paint; apply a few coats and let them dry completely.

3. Cut several strings of green raffia of equal length and hot-glue to the remaining wire stem of each tree.
4. Wrap another piece of raffia around the base, gluing it in place.
5. Attach the bottle brush carrots to a wreath or place setting or pop them into Easter baskets for cute decor you can reuse year after year.
Crayon Eggs
1. In a medium pot, combine 1 qt water and 2 Tbsp white vinegar and bring to a boil.
2. Draw all over the eggs using crayons-think lines, spots or squiggles. The wax will resist the dye, revealing your design.
3. Carefully pour boiled water into heatproof glass jars (old jam or tomato sauce jars work well) and add a few drops of food coloring (or egg dye, according to package instructions) to each. Mix well.
