ORANGE SLICE GARLAND
YOU WILL NEED
Orange slices
Twine
Rosemary
Cinnamon sticks
Faux or real berries
Flowers
Scissors
Ribbon (optional)
1 Using the twine, thread and tie on the first orange slice, securing this in place so it doesn't slip. Continue adding more slices by pushing the twine through the top and bottom of the slices. Don't worry about wrong or right sides as the slices will twist around independently as you go.
2 Tie in a couple of cinnamon sticks - a group works better than just one. Simply knot in place along the twine. If using, add colour and texture with a ribbon. Tie in place on the twine in a bow.
3 Introduce more colour, texture and scent with herbs, faux or fresh berries and flowers. Keep it random for a homemade quality, mixing up ingredients as you go by simply tying in place. Hang and drape around your home. Using in single garlands for simplicity or in doubled or tripled amounts for added wow factor.
BEESWAX CANDLEYOU WILL NEEDBeeswax sheets
Candle wicks
Scissors
Orange slices
Berries
Rosemary
Flowers
Twine
1 Using scissors, cut the beeswax sheet to suit the length of the wick. Fold the beeswax sheet over the candle wick and begin to roll, tucking the sheet under as you go. Keep the roll neat and circular by shaping the wax around the wick.
