Bound by Earth, Forged by Friendship

You can't fake a real connection — and you sure can't force five women to dig side-by-side through dirt, sweat and storms unless something powerful is holding them together.

Bound by Earth, Forged by Friendship

The Mineral Missfits didn't just find crystals deep in the Earth; they found each other and became leaders in the rockhound world. One is the President and founder of the East Coast Gem and Mineral Society, another is a founder and prior owner of a Herkimer diamond mine in Sprakers, New York. She creates Facebook reels twice a day with 314,000 viewers. The other three women are also rockhound souls - an accountant, a veterinarian and an army veteran.

What started at a Herkimer diamond mine turned into a bond tougher than bedrock and brighter than any stone they ever pulled from the ground. Their friendship, like the stones they unearth, is shaped by pressure, polished by experience and shines with an authenticity that's impossible to replicate.

imageHERKIMER DIAMONDS - LIZ

Liz of Herkimer Diamonds is a passionate crystal hunter, content creator and auctioneer, bringing one-of-a-kind Herkimer diamonds straight from the source to collectors around the world. With years of hands-on experience, first as a mine owner and now as a dedicated guide, Liz has developed a deep understanding of these unique quartz crystals and the thrill of the hunt.

For Liz, the Mine was a place of discovery, loss and rebirth. When life took an unexpected turn and she found herself in a new chapter, the Missfits stood by her, just as she stood by them through their own hardships.
