Diana's pricey wardrobe
Princess Diana was known for her iconic fashion, and fans itching to own some of her most famous pieces had the chance to buy them recently - if they could afford the price tags. A trove of Diana's clothes went on sale in California via Julien's Auctions, with some items reaching sixfigure sums. Diana's blue silk floral dress, dubbed the 'caring dress' as she often wore it while visiting children, sold for a whopping $520,000, while her famous British Lung Foundation sweatshirt went for $221,000 10 times the expected sale price. Diana's style really was timeless - and expensive!

After much debate over where Prince George will continue his education, it seems the heir to the throne, who turned 12 on 22 July, will follow in his father and Prince Harry's footsteps to attend Eton College after all.
It comes after insiders reported a certain 'smugness' at the Windsor-based school that an announcement confirming George's attendance would be coming soon. A source even added, 'All roads lead to Eton.' George and his younger siblings currently attend Lambrook School in Berkshire, but the eldest of the Wales brood is due to move up to a senior school in September 2026.
There has been endless speculation over where the future King would attend, after William and Kate toured a number of the country's most prestigious private schools. Kate is said to have favoured her own alma mater, Wiltshire's coeducational Marlborough College, with some sources claiming that disagreements over George's schooling have caused 'a lot of tension'. But now it seems George will be headed to the boys' school after all, where fees rack up to over £63,000 a year.
