Serac: Evolving With Clevertech To Provide Turnkey Solutions to The Food Processing Industry

The interview encompasses the product portfolio of Serac, their partnership with Clevertech, and India's Food Processing Market.

Can you please tell us more about your partnership with Clevertech?

Yes, Clevertech and Serac work together in most of the turnkey projects where Clevertech is our partner for the upstream and downstream equipment, and Serac does the filler cappers. So for any project with any industry across the sectors, food and nonfood, we work with Clevertech.

Can you please tell us more about your product portfolio that Serac Packaging offers?

Serac is a French company with global operations. We have our head office at La Ferté-Bernard, France, which is around 2 hours from Paris. We have four strategic business units, comprising six plants, with our head office located in France, where we operate three factories. We have 1 factory in the US, 1 factory in Brazil, and 1 factory in Malaysia. Malaysia caters to the entire APAC region. So the manufacturing for India happens in Malaysia, and then we have the sales and service network in India. In India, we have our Headquarters in Pune. We have a team of 18, including me, with an after-sales team of 11. we have a total install base of around 129 machines in India, including the complete turnkey lines that we do across the sectors.
