Rick Owens’ menswear Fall/ Winter 2025-2026 takes an intimately personal approach to what “essentials” really are - a partnership between functionality and gothic flair. This ethos formed a lineup of elevated staples -thermal long johns, oversized hoodies, and flaring trousers transformed into bold, striking statements.

The showstopper outerwear presented some of the most dramatic overcoats. Its stand-up “Dracu-collars” protected one from the rain as well as judgment. There were the boxy wool coats and industrial zippers, seen walking down the catwalk with fitted silhouettes suitable for both androgynous and more mature full-bodied men to prove elegance is age and size blind.

A standout moment was when Owens collaborated with luxury luggage brand Rimowa.

With architectural silhouettes and futuristic designs, the palette dominated by black and gray, punctuated with metallic accents, Owens merged practicality with fantasy. It was a testament to his mastery of making all essentials simply extraordinary.
