At the center of this impressive event was Svetlana Verina, also known as Svetlana Kashcheieva. She is a Dubai-based fashion producer, investor, and the founder of both World Fashion Week Dubai and the World Fashion Union. With her background marked by reinvention and resilience, Svetlana brings a global perspective and fine taste to everything she does. Originally from Ukraine, she rebuilt her life and career in the UAE after the war began, transforming personal challenges into professional success. Choosing Dubai as her home was more than just a move; it signified her ambitions. She saw the city as a place of opportunity, diversity, and innovation—a perfect stage for the new global fashion story she wanted to create.
