Gemrock, the leading colour gemstone mining company, announced the success of its inaugural auction, held between October 3 and October 7, 2022, in Bangkok, with buyers from 56 companies showing keen interest in the inventory that was on offer.

The five-day auction witnessed a robust sentiment with buyers expressing great interest in the inventory that was on offer. As many as 45 international companies participated in the event -- the viewing, which was divided into 74 schedules, had over 100,000 carats of rough rubies.

Some of the finest gem-quality rubies from the renowned Montepuez ruby district were on display. A wide range of rough inventory in various shades of red, ranging from dark red to pinkish-red, as well as rubies with purple and orange tones, was on offer at this tender. This inaugural tender was a milestone event, as it set the stage for Gemrock as one of the leading suppliers of colour gemstones to the world.
