Violet's political ambitions are thrown into chaos when husband Fred suffers a health scare this week.

No-nonsense haberdasher and local councillor Violet (Annabelle Apsion) has decided to run for mayor of Tower Hamlets, and she's keen to beat smug rival Bill Regan (Steven Hartley), a fellow councillor who's a ruthless slum landlord.
