By the 1950s, Disney Studios had legions of fans and Walt Disney was noticing families travelling to Hollywood to meet their favourite characters but inevitably leaving disappointed.
So Walt, inspired by his own boyhood visit to an amusement park, decided to create Disneyland, giving visitors an immersive experience of his popular tales.
