Lights, cameras, and a star-spangled cast – comedy king Seth Rogen doesn't miss a trick as his new satire peels back the curtain on the world of moviemaking.

Co-written as well as directed and headlined by Canadian actor Seth (Superbad), The Studio lands on Apple TV+ this week and is a 10-part comedic love letter to Hollywood that's packed with cameos from the likes of Martin Scorsese, Zac Efron and Charlize Theron (see box, below).

Seth plays burnt-out, insecure film geek Matt Remick, who lands his dream job as the new head of Tinseltown's (fictional) Continental Studios. But as the company struggles to balance art and commerce, Matt finds himself in a tug of war between squabbling executives, egotistical artists and corporate demands.
