There must be something in the water, because Weatherfield is a hotbed of romance and passion this week. Gail and Jesse's relationship goes from strength to strength (although Gail would fall in love with a pot plant if it gazed at her longingly and gifted her a polo-neck jumper) while there's sauciness on the cards for Steve and Cassie and Nick and Toyah.

Gail and Jesse Eileen Grimshaw's exhave recently gone from being friends to something more, but their future looked uncertain when Gail suffered a heart attack.
