After more build-up than your average Oscars ceremony, EastEnders hits the big 4-0 this week, and it's going to be a blast - literally. An explosion rips through The Queen Vic, and at least one resident ends up in that great Square in the sky.

All four eps are set on Wednesday 19 February, the exact date that EastEnders first aired, back in 1985. As the action kicks off, the air is filled with romance and optimism. Billy and Honey are preparing to tie the knot, and the loved-up couple are hoping for a day to remember. Well, they'll definitely get that.
