Kim Coates joins the Walking Dead spin-off as a vicious villain

The mean streets of New York were never going to provide a safe haven in the wake of a zombie apocalypse, but as The Walking Dead: Dead City returns for Season 2 on Sky Max, there's a new malevolent force at play... Step forward Bruegel, played by Kim Coates, leader of the city's most powerful gang.

‘This guy is conniving, vicious and smart, and he'll do what it takes to survive,’ reveals 67-year-old Sons of Anarchy star Coates. 'He was a super-rich hedge-fund CEO who went down into his bunker when the world ended, and he's got the charisma that makes others want to follow him. He's an art freak, too, so he bases himself in The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
