Gifted neurosurgeon and reluctant witch Rowan Fielding deals with teething problems of a darker kind as the fantasy drama based on Anne Rice's trilogy returns for an eight-part second run.

We last saw Rowan (Alexandra Daddario) making a fateful choice to embrace her ancestral supernatural power and conceive a child with Lasher (Jack Huston), the seductive spirit that has haunted her bloodline for generations. Now, just like most new mothers, Rowan is sleep-deprived and exhausted, but she's raising a son who is far from ordinary.
