Professor Hannah Fry's fascinating new six-part series The Infinite Explorer is no ordinary travelogue - you certainly won't see her sipping cocktails or enjoying spa experiences. Instead, the National Geographic series follows the popular broadcaster as she explores six countries and unpicks how geography and other forces have shaped them as nations.

'Most travelogues are experiential, but I think the production team wanted to know what it would be like to go on holiday with me nerding out and overanalysing everything!' laughs Fry. 'But I've always been interested in the idea that the physical layout of a country ends up changing who its people are.
