A death in a remote community has shocking consequences as Shetland returns

A seemingly quiet and peaceful hamlet proves to be a hotbed of buried secrets as Shetland returns for its 10th series this week.

The locals of Lunniswick have always prided themselves on looking out for one another, but when elderly resident Eadie Tulloch is found murdered, DI Alison Tosh' McIntosh (Alison O'Donnell) and DI Ruth Calder (Ashley Jensen) discover that the community isn't nearly as harmonious as it seems.

Further complicating matters is the revelation that Eadie was an old friend of Sergeant Billy McCabe (Lewis Howden) - and as the investigation deepens, the murder has major repercussions not just for the village residents, but for the entire police team.
