Following on from the rush of documentaries about football legends such as David Beckham, Paul Gascoigne and Sir Alex Ferguson comes Prime Video’s Sven, which sees the headline-grabbing life and career of former England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson come under the spotlight.

The Swede became the England team’s first- ever foreign manager in 2001 when he took over from Kevin Keegan, and his air of cool confidence made fans believe in the national team again. He went on to take England to two World Cup quarter-finals, in 2002 and 2006, and steered the side for five years.
