After a messy break-up derails both her professional and personal lives, idealistic New Yorker Jessica (Hacks' Megan Stalter) attempts a fresh start across the Atlantic in Too Much, Netflix's bittersweet romantic comedy from Girls writer/director Lena Dunham.
Offered the opportunity to transfer to her company's new office in London, Jessica - whose knowledge of the UK is primarily drawn from films and TV shows - has visions of getting over her ex while living on a country estate and attending a whirl of society parties teeming with dashing suitors. However, the reality of her new life in Britain comes as something of a culture shock.
