Kristen Wiig returns as Maxine, the former beauty queen trying to claw her way back to the top of Palm Beach's most exclusive club following last season's very public breakdown at the now infamous Beach Ball, where she learnt her husband, Douglas (Josh Lucas), had impregnated manicurist Mitzi (Kaia Gerber), and where her friend and confidant, bartender Robert (Ricky Martin), was accidentally shot.
