Titans of the rock scene in the 1970s, Led Zeppelin might have been another footnote in music history had they not succeeded where many British bands failed, by cracking America before getting the recognition they deserved at home.

Now, the notoriously mediashy band have approved the first authorised documentary about them, which charts their meteoric rise in the late 1960s.
