Righting the wrongs

Love Island host Caroline Flack was one of Britain's biggest TV stars when she took her own life on 15 February 2020, just weeks after she was charged with assaulting her boyfriend, Lewis Burton, following an argument at her London home.

Her grieving mum, Christine, believes her daughter's death, at the age of 40, started with the decision to prosecute Caroline rather than issue a caution. Now, in a moving two-part Disney+ documentary, Caroline Flack: Search for the Truth, she's fighting for answers.

'After Caroline's death, I knew an injustice had been done,' says Christine. 'This doesn't bring Caroline back but by doing this documentary I want people to know the truth of what happened with Caroline that night.'
