The inner-city students start a new term at St Gilbert's

Centred on the lives of five Black, underprivileged teenagers who receive scholarships to a prestigious boarding school, Boarders was one of the BBC's breakout hits of 2024.

This week, Jaheim, Leah, Toby, Femi and Omar are back at St Gilbert's College for a second term.

'The reception was so positive for Season 1, says Jodie Campbell, who plays Leah. 'It made me excited to come back for more of what Boarders does best, which is tackling awkward, difficult topics - but always with lots of laughter.
