Most people have probably imagined how they'd cope in prison. This week, for seven celebrities, that notion becomes a terrifying reality in C4's Banged Up.

Actors Sid Owen and Tom Rosenthal, MP Johnny Mercer, Gogglebox's Marcus Luther, singer HRVY, journalist Peter Hitchens and former MP Neil Parish have all volunteered to spend up to seven days inside with former criminals to experience UK prison life first-hand - from strip searches and solitary confinement to violence and drug dealing.
