There are stunning cities to explore and rich histories to reveal when Michael Portillo embarks on a new series of his Great Continental Railway Journeys.
Over the course of four weeks and 20 episodes, his itinerary takes him through Bosnia and Herzegovina, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Normandy and Brittany. But his travels begin in Croatia, in the region of Istria and the historic port of Pula.
