The Battle of Sunday's Buzz Shows

DID THEY REALLY go there? That's the reaction you'll be hearing all spring as two of TV's most dynamic series air opposite each other on Sundays: HBO's Emmy-winning Succession, going out with a bang in its fourth and final season, and Showtime's baroque, bizarre Yellowjackets, back for a second round of mayhem.

These signature shows from premium cable's power players couldn't be more different, but neither is kidding around this year. The blue-chip Succession is especially strong, as hilariously vicious as ever, with the Roy media family imploding amid a flurry of betrayals, back-channel dealmaking and cruel manipulations.
