According to Mintel, the global market research firm whose reports are considered the gold standard, we will see artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly making its presence felt in the skincare industry. Think customised skincare routines, tools that will help analyse skin and hair, and virtual try-ons.

THE INGREDIENTS TO WATCH OUT FOR 

"With a growing focus on cosmetic benefits tied to health concerns, skincare formulations emphasising stress management and overall skin health are gaining popularity, and the trend is likely to gain further momentum," says Prachi Bhandari, co-founder and head of research of AMINU. She predicts that these ingredients will be big in 2024.
