Nova is Panic's successor to its popular Coda web development app, but unlike that app, it's also a highly capable text editor, and is designed to integrate into most development toolchains and workflows.

As a text editor, Nova offers everything you'd expect and more. Its launcher window works with individual files and folder-based projects. Structured text such as XML, JSON and code can be folded to facilitate working with large files, and there's a 'minimap' view of the document. Where appropriate, smart autocompletion accelerates coding without being annoying, and the app may also suggest ideas such as adding documentation.
