Stone Khichdi

Sitting in the sun on the terrace, Grandma said to Rehan, who was playing nearby, "Rehan beta! Go downstairs and tell Mummy to make bajra khichdi today...it's been a long time since we ate that."

Rehan answered, "Okay, Grandma, I will tell her." 

Rehan went downstairs and told Mummy that Grandma had asked her to make bajra khichdi.

Mummy smiled and said, "Okay. I will make it."

Rehan went back to the terrace and started playing again. That's when Grandma remembered something else. She called Rehan and said, "Rehan beta, I have to disturb you again."

Rehan said, "No, grandma. You're not disturbing me at all. Tell me what has to be done."

Grandma said, "Beta, whenever Mummy makes bajra khichdi, she forgets to add split green gram to it. Adding the split green gram makes the khichdi tasty. Please remind her."

Rehan went downstairs again and was walking towards the kitchen when he saw his little sister, Saloni, using his sketch pens.
