She thought her life was about to end. In October 2016 while Kim Kardashi-an was visiting the City of Light for Paris Fashion Week, thieves broke into the private luxury apartment she'd rented for her stay and “dragged me out on to the hallway on top of the stairs. That’s when I saw the gun,” the reality star recounted on a 2017 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, reliving the horror. She had “a split second” to decide if she should try to run from the jewelry robbers but quickly realized it was hopeless: “There’s no way out.”
