Chrisley Knows Best star Savannah Chrisley landed a presidential pardon for parents Todd and Julie — in prison for financial crimes — and got them freed early. Whatever happens next, the family will handle it side by side

For Todd Chrisley, going to prison allowed him to reflect on his privilege.

“We took so many things for granted before,” the Chrisley Knows Best alum, 56, tells Us in an interview along with wife Julie, who also spent time behind bars, and oldest daughter Savannah. “I almost felt a bit of shame over living the way we've lived and having the things we've had.”

Chrisley Knows Best showcased real estate tycoon Todd's glamorous life with Julie, 52, and kids Lindsie, 35, Kyle, 33, Chase, 29, Savannah, 28, and Grayson, 19, plus granddaughter Chloe, 12, in the Atlanta suburbs and then Nashville. For 10 seasons, millions of viewers watched the Chrisleys be there for one another through family drama and celebrations, business challenges and health woes. But in January 2023, the family faced their greatest obstacle yet when Todd and Julie reported to prison after being convicted of bank and wire fraud, tax evasion and conspiracy.

Savannah devoted herself to freeing her parents, and in May, President Donald Trump granted them full pardons. “It was surreal to finally see everything come full circle,” Savannah tells Us. “I spent so much time fighting.” Now home from prison, the Chrisleys look forward to rebuilding, sharing their story in their new show
