EXPELLED New York congressman George Santos could get slapped with up to seven years in the slammer after the serial liar pleaded guilty to federal fraud and identity theft charges.

Prosecutors argued that Santos, 36, should have the book thrown at him because the Republican's “unparalleled crimes” had “made a mockery” of the country’s election system. The disgraced politician was booted from office in 2023 after the House Ethics Committee reported finding “substantial evidence” that he’d violated federal law.
