Cher seeks to have two elephants moved from the Los Angeles Zoo to an animal sanctuary rather than another zoo in Oklahoma

The pair of pachyderms, Billy and Tina, now reside at the Los Angeles Zoo and supporters, including Cher, want them moved to an animal sanctuary.

But officials plan to relocate Billy, 40, and Tina, 59, to another zoo in Tulsa, Okla., and a lawsuit has been filed by animal rights advocates to stop the move.

The Believe singer, 79, has filed a declaration supporting the suit, insisting: "Billy doesn't deserve this!"
