From skipping Easter with the king to hiring anew law firm, Prince William is showing his independent streak!

On April 20, King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended Easter services at St. George's Chapel in Windsor along with other royals, including Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. Notably absent from the group gathering was Prince William.

The future king, 42, reportedly spent the weekend with wife Princess Kate, 43, and their three children — Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 — at their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk. According to Hello!, the family quietly marked the holiday by joining Kate's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, for Sunday services at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.
