Hello! Canada

The Duchess of Sussex wears her heart on her sleeve as she steps out to support changemakers in pursuit of a better world

- TRACY SCHAVERIEN AND MICHAEL KILLINGSWORTH

ON A MISSION

The Duchess of Sussex gave fans a new glimpse into her life while on a trip to New York City with husband Prince Harry, making it clear that she's feeling blessed and more joyful than ever.

The couple flew from their California home to join celebrities - including Demi Moore and Canada's Ryan Reynolds - at the Time100 Summit, where Meghan was among the speakers focused on solutions and actions that can help make the world a better place.

Taking the stage at the Lincoln Center after she and security-conscious Harry, 40, arrived in a convoy of four SUVs, the duchess shared how her husband and their children - Prince Archie, who just turned six, and Princess Lilibet, 3 - had brought joy to her life, admitting that she wanted to hurry home because Archie was about to lose his first tooth!

"A confession for you today, that I can very comfortably say, is that I'm the happiest I've ever been," said Meghan, 43, who recently launched her latest podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, hot on the heels of her new lifestyle brand, As Ever. "To have a partner and a husband who is so supportive and to have healthy kids who are so joyful...I never would have imagined at this point that I would feel so happy and grateful, and I really do.

"Archie is losing his first tooth, and I just hope I'm back in time for it - that's all that matters."

CHIC AND SERENE

Meghan looked stylish in a silk-and-linen tan Ralph Lauren pantsuit and white shirt. She finished her look with cognac Manolo Blahnik pumps and stacked bracelets, plus a gold Cartier Tank watch that had belonged to Harry's late mother, Princess Diana.

"I want to be a role model for my children," Meghan continued. "I'm conscious of not just raising a strong and confident woman but also having a son. It's of just as paramount importance for young men to be raised with a confidence and sense of self for the women around them.
